Eren Ünsal, whom one could safely assume is the spokesman for Germany's Turkish Union, referring to the decision by some German schools to ban all languages but German being spoken during school hours.
'Mother tongue'? What country are these children in?

At the risk of yet again proving myself anilliberal supporter of the Yugoslavs it is worth noting in regard to this newspiece that while our Turkish allies arrest people in the street for speaking Kurdish & the Germans are doing this the Serbs allowed the Kosovo Albanians (many recent immigrants) to go up to university level taught in Albanian.
Fortunately they have been rescued from such horrorsby our "humanitarian bombing" (to quote the genocidal Robin Cook (hellfire be upon him).
